PAGE 2:

FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA;

KOLONIA, POHNPEI: The following material is taken from material recently added to the stock of NY dealer Steven Zirinsky (szirinsky@cs.com). The material ran ges from 1998 to dated and includes several examples of the rarely seen oval cancellation and the “Dumb” recetangular cancellation.

PAGE 3 - PALIKAR, POHNPEI: From the stock of Steven Zirinsky a range of covers from 1998 to date showing a range of cancellations used at this Station.

WENO CHUUK: From the stock of Steven Zirinsky a range of covers from 1998 to date and covering most of the cancellations used at this office during that period.

KOSRAE: From the stock of Steven Zirinsky. All recent covers – including Certified Mail - note the High value stamps. Also to note that some covers are apparently postmarked during 2010 – but the receiving date-stamp of the addressee confirms that the covers were actually postmarked during 2009

COLONIA, YAP: Four 2009 covers from the stock of Steven Zirinsky and showing the possibly 3 different cancellations in use there – note the break at 9 o'clock on two of the examples.

PAGE 4 AGANA GUAM:

In column 3 of Page 4 Dave Trutwin comments on the Agana 4-Bars used in 1950's and 60's. I show below

the scan Dave sent to me which may help you to follow the comments in the Bulletin.

GUAM – METER & PERMIT MAIL: A range of Meter Mail from Barigada, Hagatña and Tamuning and one example of Permit Mail from the stock of Steven Zirinsky.

PAGE 5 – SAIPAN COMMONWEALTH OF THE NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS;

A cover from Pohnpei with a cachet “Received in damaged condition” probably applied at Saipan

PAGE 6 - KOROR REPUBLIC OF PALAU:

This is the Registered cover referred to in the Bulletin – Note the very faint Koror APDS on the reverse – it appears to have the word KOROR in the lower half of the cancellation - I don't recall having see an APDS with Koror in the lower half.

PAGE 6 MIDWAY ISLAND: Two covers from an Auction site submitted by David Trutwin. Both have incomplete examples of Murphy Fig. 1.1 apparently dated between 10th May & 20 May 1905.

Also from David Trutwin a previously unreported cachet used in July 1941.
